Interesting timing. I just finished reading the first graphic novel, Will Eisner’s A Contract with God, and was boning up on Eisner’s term “sequential art” and the notion of comics being the most effective drawn art medium to incorporate the concept of time. Adding CVS receipts to the mix really levels that up.
Today’s strip also reminds me of this one from a while back:
Seldom does Nancy have as many as 36 likes by the time I read it. Not only has OJ pleased readers who are looking for newness, or the comic exotic, whatever, she may also have hit a nerve of the 9 to 5 set.
