My favorite: In “The Music Man (1962)” we learn that the town’s big benefactor is “Mr. Madison” with lots of stuff named after him. What was his FIRST NAME? HINT: It is never said — BUT you can make it out on the base of his statue that Prof. Hill dances around during the “Trouble” number.
The 1972-1973 version of “Lost Horizon” featured great songs in it to make it a movie musical like “Living Together, Growing Together”, “The World is a Circle”, and “Question Me an Answer”.
Shangri-La was FDR’s codename for Camp David. When the Japanese asked where the planes that bombed Tokyo during the Doolittle Raid came from, he replied, “Shangri-La.”
The real question for this chat group is – who was the pilot of the plane that took Uncle Scrooge to Tralla La, for two million dollar. Carl Barks never gave him a name.
Speaking of trivia, I didn’t even know that Ronald Colman arrived in Shangri-La with a plane. I seen the movie 3 or 4 times and I had thought that Colman had to struggle through blinding snow, and climb steep and narrow mountain cliffs before he came upon the Shangri-La valley?
Am I the only one who finds it annoying… people referring to the actor’s name instead of the character’s name when referring to their role in a film or television show? It’s even worse when they mix referring to one person as their character and another as their real name.
I was never any good at the entertainment questions. Ask me history, science, and maybe sports any day. I was kind of hit or miss with the lit questions too.

Don’t feel bad, Snoopy. I know many of the actors in that movie, but not that one.

Woodstock is the smartest bird that you’d ever see, but not so much with flying.

Woodstock obviously spends a lot of Saturday nights watching old movies in Snoopy’s doghouse.

Trick question: the plane didn’t take Colman to Shangri-La; it crashed before they got there.

So in other words, don’t play Trivial Pursuit with Woodstock unless you’re playing teams and he’s on your team.

Oops! The important suggestion to GoComics is to delay to February 18-19. Be prepared still.
