Yea Henry you put up the bird feeder then keep it filled. Must keep the little birdies happy.

Same or more so with hummingbird feeders.

Just sayin’.

And soon… the squirrels!

(I know. I *know, they’re at sea. The squirrels will find their way to the bird feeder anyway, they always do!)

At least they don’t have squirrels aboard ship. Those critters come from all over the neighborhood to empty my feeders as soon as I fill them.

The funny part of this is that I had thought this was a pirate ship, and the guy with the 3 lemons on top of his hat was actually the Captain! Guess I was wrong. Go figure. It looks more like he is a lowly cabin mate that everybody else gives orders to.

My latest feeder fill has no sunflower seeds and no customers. Yes, there is a squirrel-proof feeder.

And in the winter add the suet feeders to the mix!!!!

Moved into All Seasons……..left lots of feeders, squirrel proof feeder. Still sad, still miss that, still worry about the birds and squirrels.

Don’t read the Yelp reviews, Henry, if you value your sanity.

This comic strip keeps becoming more strange.

We fill the feeders Oct through March. April through September, they can eat bugs.

mine’s been out all year they keep hitting it

I’ve had BUNCHES of birds at my feeders since it snowed. They can’t feed off the ground. Lots of woodpeckers, too.

Thinking maybe those pointing it out could fill the feeder.

Let’s not forget vegetarians/seed eaters metabolize their food more quickly.

I hope these birds are gracious enough not to poop all over the deck. There aren’t that many bird feeders out on the high seas.
