That’s because your average tech-using Plugger’s more cultured and better educated than your average non-Plugger tech user.;-D

I’m not that old of a plugger, but I tend to do that technique (once in a while).

That is me, I was one of the last people that finally learned how to text, I took a temp job a few years back and my employer said if we need anything we just text each other And I am going but, how?

Prefer to talk vs using the modern Morse code known as “texting” ;-)

And notice that she’s using a flip phone which normally doesn’t have a full keyboard. She’s typing this on a phone keypad where you have to click repeatedly to get to the letter that you want.

I used the abbreviations when I had a flip phone. With my smart phone and full key board, I use full words and sentences.

Most of my texts are requests for a phone call when convenient.

The problem with people that text without complete words is that eventually they will forget how to spell the words.

Pluggers take the time to proofread their content before pushing the “send” button. I just proofread my reply before pushing the “send” button. I may be thought of as an old Fudd by the recipient of my electronic missives, but I’ll be thought of as intelligent and literate old Fudd.
