Especially after a dinner party. A great way to wind down and wake up in the morning to a clean house.

No argument. Of course, we’ll all split a bowl of macaroni with G. Marconi before that scenario is even suggested.

Nope, either you wash and leave everything in the rack to dry or I will. The job only requires one person and the other gets to do whatever they prefer to be doing.

Maybe Congress could be seated in alphabetical order instead of by opposing parties on each side. Mix it up!

Since I’m retired, in our house it’s I wash and it’s air dry. She works and I need to earn my keep.

I can just imagine the mess of broken dishes, right Nancy P.

I have a vision of heaps of broken dishes

World leaders….Putin….Trump…..doing the dishes?

The reason I liked cooking in a restaurant, more than at home: they hired some one else to do the pots, pans & dishes.

Some of those world leaders might consider those dishes weapons.

We’d end up with a bunch of broken plates!

But if they had to clean it up they might not get this world in such a mess to start with!

For decades the FDA has advocated leaving dishes to air-dry. If you have one spot of bacteria that you missed, using a rag spreads that bacteria over ALL your dishes and there is a better chance it can find a speck of food you missed. It will then grow rapidly. (I know, never could convince Mom of this, either.)
