Was too afraid of “chiseling” people out of money.
You just chisel away the parts that don’t belong.
Could be worth a fortune…….
He doesn’t have a nude female model inspiring him. Try a still life and carve the first grape.
Think about it. He just needs to bet more imaginative stones!
Just start noodling, see what falls out !
He just seems to be blocked.

Writer’s block has nothing on this.
Maybe marble would have inspired him…a chip off the old block…
He shouldn’t take his talent for granite.
What separates the artist from the average human being: seeing the art within the stone, or on the blank page, or within the noise and bringing it out.

If he is like me, he’ll get inspiration and raise the chisel and hammer [tink]

Looks like a fabulous work of modern art to me.
Sounds like he should start working on his tombstone.
Start small and see if you can chip away at the problem.
He lacks a concrete plan.
