I remember when the first Star Wars movie came out in ‘77. People would go back again and again to watch it. I seem to recall someone seeing it about 100 times in the theater. I don’t recall mention of anyone going back to see it more than once on the same night. This guy is extreme but there may be some truth to this.

I managed watching it 12 times in the theater.

I never wanted to see a movie that often. Well maybe the 1992 Batman Returns. A friend of mine does watch The Martian often because she has a thing for Matt Damon…

There were only 2 movies I’d seen in the theatre more than once. One was “Logan’s Run”; the other was “Titanic”. LR, because the 2nd time it was playing a double-bill with another movie I wanted to see. “Titanic”, because my husband & I took our daughters to see the re-releases in 3-D.

I can’t think of any movie that I’ve wanted to see in the theater more than once. If I really like them, I may get the DVD.

After 22 years, I was really excited that there was finally a new Star Wars movie out. After I saw it, I was very disappointed. Haven’t watched it in a lot of years.

My most watched movie is Christmas Vacation, about once a year since it came out.

The Phantom Menace was, I guess, “worth” seeing once, if only to be shocked how bad it was. Certainly not more than once. Certainly not six times.

You can tell Bill Amend had to write/draw this weeks before The Phantom Menace came out because there wasn’t this level of craziness. Yes, everyone wanted to see it. Not many wanted to see it more than once.

OK, I didn’t really keep up with the franchise after the trilogy, so just what character is the nerd suppose to be?

The only movie I saw multiple times in the theater besides the original trilogy movies was Amadeus

My friend and I went to get in line early to see one of the Star Wars movies, and there was a matinee that was not advertised. We walked right in. We saw it, then walked out and got in line for the next show.

Something so surreal about being reminded of this level of enthusiasm for such a notoriously disappointing film.
