    Get on board with this, Mom. Then explain that a few more hardships would really guarantee his success. So, let’s add in poverty and deprivation: no more allowance, no cell phone, no computer, no video games, etc. He’ll come around very quickly.

    The “greatest success stories” often have a bit of fiction in them. In reality, most of them had a huge advantage starting out or got very very lucky.
