Chain reaction: Organize a drawer, go to the next drawer, take things you’re unsure of from that drawer and put them into the first drawer, repeat for all drawers, then start again.
I did ok with organizing until the university needed my office for somebody else and, being low on the totem pole, I had to move everything in my office into my home. I’ve never quite recovered. So many books, so much paperwork, so many student tests that need to be shredded (and staples removed first).
