Lets face the truth, it’s not 2020 that was bad. It’s the 21 Century, that’s going bad and it all started with 2YK. We had so much hope for the 21 Century, but it looks like a repeat of the 20th Century. (wjones is right) Will the American Dream survive in the 21st century?
Ultimately, it is what you make of it. Covid has really messed things up, as a teacher, the remote teaching we had to do the last couple of months of last school year was no fun (or good for learning), my summer was shot as my father’s health declined and then we lost him in September at the age of 93, my 90 year old mother misses him greatly, (all of us do, but her especially). We won’t even start on politics. And there was plenty more bad stuff that came my way.On the other hand, one of my daughters and her husband moved closer this summer shortly after our first grandbaby was born and they are all doing great. Dad is not suffering now, and he and Ma had 72 years and 10 days of marriage together. I still have a job and my wife has been a great help taking care of Ma, who can still do most things on her own. We have another grandbaby from the other daughter due in July, (altho they live hundreds of miles away so that’s got good and bad mixed in.
Anyway, If you really want to, you can be happy – or unhappy – wherever life takes you. Philippians 4:11

Let’s face it. The year 2000 ended the good years.

It would have been something if the Covid-19 had happened in 2012.
