So far, the only item on Moscow Mitch’s agenda is maximum obstruction.

And the last platform structured by Republicans is “Whatever Trump Wants”.

    .

Are Democrats supposed to ‘compromise’ with that?

Got to get that both-sides-ism in there.

Still hearing about that 74 M (got the right decimal this time), more than any other president ever got.

Still no mention about the guy who got 80 M. What is that? Chopped liver?

Oh, yeah. I forgot. Last time it was something like 70 M to 74 M, and guess who went to the White House? Not the woman who, herself, had just broken the same record that this last guy broke – and still came in SECOND.

    National Popular Vote!

And if Republicans think that this would mean the end to getting into the White House, perhaps a dose of the same medicine they keep preaching at us: Come up with policies that people might like.

Not just more ways to make people’s vote not count.

tRump’s talk of forming his own political party seems to be influencing Republicans to continue to appease him. Maybe they’re afraid that if tRump does form his own political party it will split Republican voters and they will lose more seats in Congress and Democrats will gain more seats because of a split vote. Seems to me that they should bone up on world history. It didn’t work in the 1930’s. The only reason tRump would form another political party is if he could run for President in 2024. The question now is are there 17 Republican Senators who will put our country first?

    Flowers on the wall

I keep hearing you’re concerned about my happiness

But all the work you put into me without conscience I guess

If I were walking in your shoes. I wouldn’t worry none

While you and your friends are lookin ’round

    I’m having lots of fun

    Counting flowers on the wall

    What’s that bothering you all

Playing solitaire till dawn with a deck of fifty-one

Smoking cigarettes and watching lots of cable news

Now that I’m gone, you’ve nothing to do.

Last night I dressed in tails pretended I was on the town

As long as I can walk around, I know you won’t slow down

So please don’t give a thought to me I’m really doing fine

You you will soon find another, whom you lie about and whine.

    Counting flowers on the wall

    That’s whats bothering you all

Playing solitaire till dawn cause nobodys on the run

Smoking cigarettes while Biden’s watching Captain Kangaroo

Now that I’m gone, you’ve nothing to do

    Apoligies to De Witt Lewis

And we’re back to cookie cutter, tv dinner strips…

The Interpreter: To rebuild democracy, build it first — Regular readers of this newsletter will remember that research shows that when countries democratize, elites often sabotage the government’s capacity to make and enact policy in order to limit its ability to redistribute resources and power from former haves to newly empowered have-nots. “Confronting the United States’ complicated legacy of unequal political participation, voter suppression, and white supremacy is part of U.S. democratization,” Susan D. Hyde, a University of California, Berkeley political scientist, said via email. “Many Americans have been living in a democracy for a long time, but there have also been authoritarian enclaves throughout the country.”

“The Democrats need to compromise for the sake of unity” say the people who tried to violently steal the Presidency just a week ago.

The first thing on the Democrats’ list of things to do in the Biden administration should be to obstruct Mitch McMafia. Then move onto the Second and neutralize Lindsey Soggy Grahamcracker…etc…etc…etc.
