I can relate, having worked in tech support for a number of years. I’m loving retirement. No more mind-numbing, soul-crushing hours on the phone listening to folks kvetch about their computer or their software.
Did you know Ganesh(a) rides a rat and has control of dimensions? I see the rat as really a Brown Jenkin as seen in “Dreams of the Witch House” to lead a traveler through hyperspace to any planet at any time using higher math and transdimensional geometry.

The only don’t do that (use powers on self) in the comics. The real-life superheroes I know are all pretty self absorbed.
