I worked at a place once where we would get mixers and other devices in bubble wrap. One day, I saw the receiver with a long piece of it, threw it on the floor and started stomping. The forklift driver said: “Hey, let me at it!” He backed over it, it sounded like a machine gun going off. The front office door burst open and the manager just about had a fit.
A couple of weeks ago i ordered some new wiper blades for my father suv. It was packaged in a box with bubble wrap. I couldn’t pop the bubble wrap. Each bubble was connected with a air channel. Squeeze a bubble on one end and the bubble on the other end would get bigger. I was P.O.

Do you know, I’ve actually SEEN bubble wrap being promoted for that use?

But when you start to repeat “All work and no popping, makes Aunty a dull girl” it’s time for the real stuff.
