I have always been happy to be whatever age I am. I had a lot of good things happen in my past life, but I wouldn’t go back. I’ve had a lot of bad things happen in my past life and it would not be worth going back to undo them; I’d probably lose a lot of wisdom if I did.
What j.l.farmer said just above. I’m a leading edge Baby Boomer (Born early ’47- birthday in less than 2 weeks). Still physically and mentally active and enjoying life.
I had my “mid-life” crisis when I was 35! I figured that 1/2 my life was over and just couldn’t face that one birthday! This year I’ll be 72 and loving life. LOL
Hmmm….I don’t know. Teen age years, 20’s, even some of my 30’s…..no way would I want to go through any of that again. I’m 48 now. I’d say starting at 39, this has been the best time of my life! I am in better shape, I can do many yoga poses I couldn’t when I was younger, I have been brave and moved across the country to a place that makes me happy, with a good guy….yes…..not wanting to go back. NO THANKS.

I don’t agree, I think you’re as old as you feel. Besides I don’t like the alternative to aging.

I don’t mind the “getting older” part…it’s the failure of the body’s parts that really bug me.
