I’m surprised it’s taken this long to show Oogie being freaked out by the Roomba – one would think the cat would be the most logical choice to be the first one to panic.
A friend of my granddaughter was asked by a couple she knew if she could look after their dog for a few days as they had to leave town on an emergency. The granddaughter’s friend got caught by her boss just before leaving work and requested she work a couple of hours overtime. You guessed it. By the time she got out of work and went to take the dog out it was too late. What she did not know was the couple had a Roomba and it “vacuumed” the floors before she made it to the house and the inevitable occurred, the dog had to go and it was spread all over the rug and floors.
You can’t run it when no one is home because it gets stuck under furniture and needs to be freed. It stops when dog hair gets tangles on the roller inside the brush and needs to be cleaned. It gets tangled on wires and needs to be stopped, etc.

I find a Roomba totally useless. By going hither and yon, it takes forever to cover the entire area, and it misses a LOT.

Hopefully the vacuum will break down and it will be the end of this theme. It’s way overdue.

I almost bought one until I realized my dog would attack it like it does drones and rc vehicles.

June is the only member of the Drabble family who likes the vacuum. Doesn’t that tell you something.

I thought Wally dispatched that thing already.

Love Oogie’s reaction to the vacuum in panel 5—not to mention Wally Skattling about in panel 6. Fun stuff here … made me chuckle.
