This is pretty much the opposite of what is really happening. Most of the changes are so relatively small, subtle, and slow, that it’s easy to discount them as normal variations.

2000 square miles of LA is underwater due to climate change. Miami is experiencing more and more King Tides. The residents of LA and FL do not believe in Climate Change!! And somehow people think you can change their minds about other things!!

The part that annoys me most, is that fighting climate change emissions CREATES jobs, advances technology, and provides cleaner air. Only a very few ‘old industry’ executives stand to loose; and those loss would be small. Greed: “I don’t want to put my short term profits into new tech that creates jobs and insures future growth.”

frankly I’m tired of the arguing over who is responsible for climate change. How about we just cut back on pollution, period.

In the meantime we have Canada Geese who no longer migrate. These urban geese have water, no predators and food and stay year round,

Where I live, Canada geese started to overwinter. Then robins. Now I’ve seen a picture of a bluebird taken in the last few days.

Now many scientists state that the Earth is getting colder and will continue to do so for many decades.

Today’s strip brings to mind something my mother told me when I was young. She was born in 1926. We live in Connecticut. When she was in grammar school, one of her teachers told the class that by the year 2000, our weather and Florida’s would reverse, so we would be warm and snow-free all year, and Florida would get the blizzards.

Love your strip and look forward to it each day. I did attempt to look up some grammar on this particular strip. I wonder if you have a reference to “us duck” versus “we duck” ? Not trying to be mean, but I love working with grammar and would appreciate your view. Couldn’t find anything online to help. Many thanks for your keen wit and art ;o)

It’s so hilarious that you can only see a minor advantage to global warming.
