Well, “Rep” Marjorie Taylor Greene advocated putting a bullet in Speaker Pelosi’s head.

She’ll undoubtedly get a plum committee assignment.

And by Stantis’ logic, “just vote her out”. Even though her voters probably like terroristic threats.

The treason caucus is an apt description. Violence to further political aims (terrorism) can’t be tolerated in a free society.

As usual, Stantis acts as if these people are some weird alien force that’s completely separate from the “real” Republican party, and not the natural outgrowth of the last forty years.

So “All politicians are crooks except my guy” has morphed into “All elections are fraudulent except the one that elected my guy”.

The way I put is:

For some people, “Irony” is what the Little Woman does to put a crease in the trousers.

Sedition charges should be brought against the members of Congress that VIOLATED their oath of office by encouraging insurrection and refusing to certify the repeatedly confirmed election results.

“That crowd” being “Us”… he’s not wrong. The first was a terrifying event tempered by moments of hilarity. The second is a hilarious event tempered by moments of terror. Let’s hope neither ends up defining the rest of the year.

Seems a lot of these “election deniers” suffer from irony-poor blood.

Was there a “treason caucus” during the Obummer years? When he weaponized the IRS again reporters who dared criticize him? There is nothing funny since Biden slept during the inauguration (oops that was Bernie).
