My recently deceased wife and I had a female Chihuahua who would always jump into the “warm” basket and dig into the bottom so she was covered. We bought her a heated bed but she didn’t like it the same way, but she would snuggle into a blanket all the time. We also had a male Chihuahua and we used to buy what we called Chihuahua blankets because of the material they were made from and they both loved them so much.

I stopped using an electric blanket the day I was changing the sheets and found the connection at the bottom of the electric blanket melted.

I have two four-watt cat bed heaters and they are very useful for freeing my lap for keyboard use. :)

Heating pad? Hot water bottle with regular refills? Microwaved rice bag? Let’s negotiate a little.

They make pressure sensitive ones that only warm up when an animal lays on them :D
