What would Katy do if they told her she’d have to pay for it, for buying the food and feeding and taking care of it, for stabling it, etc.?

First his wife. Now his daughter?

News headline later this year: “Best Selling Children’s Author Katy Newman Rides Pony to Book Signing Event”.

Ask mom, she’s the one who will have to pony up the money

Girl, it’s all about which end of the pony the story comes out!

Is Katy breaking 3rd wall or 4th? I prefer 4th for an actor’s aside in a play, a play being a 3 dimensional production. Since comic strips are 2 dimensional I prefer breaking the 3rd wall when a character tells us, “Hey, while we’re waiting around for the storyline on Mom’s novel to resolve itself, why don’t we have a pony storyline for me?”

Well, the Katy apple did not fall far from the tree. Go for it kiddo. A good story can come from anywhere. Most kids tell their whoppers for free.

…insert into Mom’s book? How about “Write that story!”

So why isn’t she talking to Mom, she’ the writer in the family.

She’s your daughter Adam. Humor her!

If I was Katy i would say “Fine, Bet I can MOM to help she is the better creative writer anyways.”

The pony thing has long passed it’s sell-by date.
