This reminds me of The Animal School Fable…the lesson of which seems to be lost on today’s educators and lawmakers:

One person writes this for the moral:

“When we try to make everybody the same, nobody is happy. People can get hurt and their very best gifts can go to waste.”

At least there weren’t two of each species. Then it would have been Noah’s sled.

Yup, diversity makes sense… sometimes.

Diversity: value everyone’s abilities. Get a team of huskies to cross the snow, beavers to block the streams, mules to go up the rugged hills, and giraffes to scout the land ahead. A diverse team is best for the big picture, but not everyone pulls a sled.

Common sense he doesn’t. Lesson learned I hope…..

Nope, thats the heart of diversity. I used to say it would be as a requirement to have five foot something Asians in the NBA to represent the community. My job application following my last long term job had a verbal aim of that with minimal competency requirements.

Is that Biden’s cabinet?

In this situation a diverse team would have representative from all 4 species of giraffe or sled dogs that were black, white, brown or any combination. Or any other animal but all of the same species and same gender. Oh, I forgot, it’s Dana the trumpfluffer.
