Holy crap!! Where did April go flying to in panel 7?!? I hope she at least landed on a nice soft snowbank!

Who was watching April when she went to the dry cleaners?

Mother Nature does not care what the calendar says! When she’s good and ready, spring will finally arrive!!

These were real Ontario winters, and when you draw strips like this you really have to make the audience feel those cold, wet, rainy days.

One more reason to live in Southern California……

That is Canada. They have another three months of Winter to go. I remember seeing snow in the shade of fir trees in the first week of June.

Well, son of a gun. It is indeed spring. I saw that a neighbor down the street was mowing his lawn yesterday. Nooooo!!

And in the unprinted Panel 11, Elly kicks in the TV screen and yells things that are "unprintable"…

Did they not have body-worn baby carriers in the 90’s?

One must remember WHEN these comics were published originally. Back in the day it was safe to leave a child in the vehicle for a short time. Especially in familiar hometown neighborhoods. I was and people would look at me and smile and/or wave. The world today is not a relaxed, feel safe place. But thank goodness she didn’t have April when she fell!!!

For us we had welcome weather as rain and then mild spring.

Was she shopping for Grandma Marian? Where is Elizabeth?

That cup of coffee in the last panel would give give Elly much needed support to welcome spring.

Winter. My first 30 with, second 35 without. I remember what that’s like, holy yuck and a half!!

PS: In 70 car-years we’ve replaced zero mufflers.
