Someone tell this guy it’s possible to do both things for your teeth.
In Africa, they use a slightly larger, fibrous piece of wood called a chew stick.
At least he’s not taking his teeth out to floss them.
That sketch makes me want to fast for 40 days and sleep for 40 nights.
There re few scenarios worse than trusting a doctor who is not reasonable fit or trusting a dentist with a multitude of dental implants installed merely for cosmetic reasons.
I’ll occasional use my fork if I don’t have a toothpick.
My Plugger would tear off the nearest piece of tissue box or the like. Yuk.
I use floss a lot and intra-dental brushes, but still use a toothpick on occasion.
Guess there was no stalk of grass handy. Probably a city plugger.

I once heard of an elderly lady who had to have surgery to remove splinters in her intestines from toothpick usage.
