In 3rd grade I got sick. My teacher would not let me go to the bathroom. I had already been a few times and she refused to let me go again. She told me to come up and tell her just why she should let me go again. Which I did. When I made it to her desk I throw up all over her and her desk. This made her and some other kids throw up as well. I was sent home and the rest of the class used another room for lessons that day I was told. It took some time to clean up the mess. After that I was never refused a trip to the bathroom again.
7 year old grandson was in public school last year. substitute teacher. after third time in three hours he was told, “no, have to hold it!” daughter called because of accident. grandson is now in a private school and a certain substitute teacher’s ears, as well as the social worker’s and principal’s ears, have to still be ringing, even to this day. my daughter doesn’t suffer fools gladly when it comes to my grandchildren. she IS nicer about things than I usually am, BUT that time even I was impressed.

If you don’t stop, you’ll be assessed a misconduct penalty and time will be taken off the clock.

If you don’t give me a timeout. The custodian is going to be in here cleaning up a mess.

I should’ve done that when I come across a tough question on a test. Buy me 2 more mins to think

He’s not – it’s a math test and he is counting on his fingers.
