this is hilarious truth!!!!!! – despite all the hype, arguments, debates, hate, etc. on all sides of politics – when a politician from Minnesota gets elected “president” the county will actually be done as a country. how do I know? I live there and outside of Jessie (who was worth the entertainment value – even had him ask me to sit down and talk to him when I asked a couple of questions at our state fair he really couldn’t answer – so for 15 or more minutes we sat and talked and laughed about how he ever got elected governor – and he was NOT, like so many MN politicians, self-deceived about how he got that position). we Minnesotans seem to elect some of the most illogical, non-productive, unbelievably unqualified people to represent us (with maybe the exception of California) than any other state hands down. (think Mondale, Humphrey, Dayton, Wells, Klobuchar, Omar, and my all-time favorite Waltz, who couldn’t debate a box of rocks and win in a ‘real’ election – all of them, powerful political heroes of no one, on either side.) then how did they get elected you ask? simple, two things – 1. Minnesota nice (the majority of Minnesotans vote with their emotions, not facts/logic) 2. more people felt sorry for them than really knew what they were about. (the PC pity vote) (see #1) js
