The good news here is that 1 Bear traps are quite large; 2 squirrels are so small they can easily set off the trap and not be struck by the jaws of the trap at all. That’s my story and I am sticking to it.
Contemplating whether the plotline would be more like a Charlie Chaplain or Night of the Living Dead. He did say comedy, so probably the second choice.
