when this storyline started, I thought Nate would be miserable, but Francis was the real victim. He spend a strip trying to find a seat because he had no friend option, got stuck with evan for two weeks, and now nate wouldn’t accept him back. its weird that no one else in their friend group even tried to hang out with him

It’s pretty nice to see Nate back in the strip that bears his name. In a way Francis has given all of us a break from Nate. While it was a nice respite, time now to get back to Nate, his dad, Spitsy and the gang.

Nate and his buddies were lounging in the VIP section of the Hogwarts lounge. A lot has changed. Francis learned more about the wizarding world, Dee Dee became a reporter, Chad was a food critic, Teddy learned how to master the broom, and Nate learned a bunch of spells. “Did you hear about the new student Evan?” Asked Dee Dee. “Lets go welcome them!” “Sure, I guess,” Said Nate. They found Evan in the cafeteria looking nervous. “Hi! Are you new here?” “Yeah, I’m a little nervous to be honest. First time in the wizarding world.” Said Evan. “You’re a muggle?” Asked Teddy. Evan looked down, embarrassed. “Um… yeah,” Mumbled Evan. “Hey, we used to be muggles too. Nothing to be mad about!” Said Chad. “Really? Thanks! Can I hang with you guys, I got no other friends.” said Evan. “Sure!” Said Nate. Just then, a kid ran by. “Guys! Guys! Godzilla ESCAPED!”

He had always hated Dreary PS38 with its defeated, doubtful Desks. It was a place that encouraged his tendency to feel happy.Then he saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the figure of Francis Pope. Francis was a proud Child with spiky ankles and curvy fingers.Nate gulped. He glanced at his own reflection. He was a rounded, scheming, Cheez Doodles drinker with black ankles and brown fingers. His friends saw him as a chilly, clumsy Child. Once, he had even helped a big disabled person cross the road.But not even a rounded person who had once helped a big disabled person cross the road, was prepared for what Francis had in store today.The rain hammered like bouncing cats, making Nate upset.As Nate stepped outside and Francis came closer, he could see the curved smile on his face.“Look Nate,” growled Francis, with an arrogant glare that reminded Nate of proud cats. “It’s not that I don’t love you, but I want To be friends again.. You owe me 3521 dollar.”Nate looked back, even more upset and still fingering the tall Pencil. “Francis, you knuckle head,” he replied.They looked at each other with sad feelings, like two careful, curvy cats shouting at a very incredible Locker landslide, which had Rock music playing in the background and two forgetful uncles sitting to the beat.Nate studied Francis’s spiky ankles and curvy fingers. Eventually, he took a deep breath. “I’m afraid I declared myself bankrupt,” explained Nate. “You will never get your money.”“No!” objected Francis. “You lie!”“I do not!” retorted Nate. “Now get your spiky ankles out of here before I hit you with this tall Pencil.”Francis looked grumpy, his wallet raw like a nasty, nervous Notepad.Nate could actually hear Francis’s wallet shatter into 3521 pieces.
