Ouch! My stomach hurt.

Don’t just stand…..sit down and have another plate of fish.

I have had all-you-can-eat-fish like that. Soggy, square patties that something but not quite like fish.

Are you sure that it was fish that they were serving?? And was it fresh or was it just about to go out of “code?!!” Most restaurants will offer the “all-you-can-eat” buffets on food that is close to the “code/sell by date” to reduce their stock!!

We had a rule at work. No sushi lunches for at least a week after a power outage.

A person got to know their limitations.

I would have had maybe half a serving.

The co-pilot had fish. What did the navigator have?

There is a business reason why that fish was all you could eat. As my dad used to say to guests only semi-jokingly, you might as well eat it, we’re just going to throw it out if you don’t.

ENJOY YOUR MEAL FOLKS – EAT UP. TIME FOR THE GARBAGE TRUCK.

If there was truth in advertising, the diner would be offering an all-you-can stomach fish fry.

Catholic church Lenten Fish Fries. I’ve had good and bad.

I’m more interested in eating all the food that I think I need, and that’s normally just one serving.

They didn’t lie. All you CAN eat. Not all you MAY eat.

Sometimes, you pay for what you get. In Arnie’s case, it sounds like he’s lucky that he didn’t get his stomach pumped out at the ER. Caveat emptor…….

Church fish fries are like that!

I couldn’t “get my money’s worth” if I wanted to, much lighter appetite these days. There’s more than one reason why senior menus have discounted prices.

That diner’s likely to have left-overs, even if the fish were free.

So it tasted fishy?

I never go to ACYE places, ‘cuz with my appetite they’d make a fortune off me.

“All you can eat” has never been the universally recognized signage for quality food.

We were at a Dungeness crab all you can eat years ago at a pretty good restaurant. But the bodies were so salty they were inedible, and the legs were not much better. They should have called it “ All you can throw away”.

I think I’ve been to that diner.

No, the best all-you-can-eat fish fry is at the American Legion or the VFW halls. They don’t have old inventory they’re trying to get rid of. They’ve brought everything in specifically for that occasion.

Uhhhhh.
