Honestly, Betty. Bub – and I’m with him 100% – feels that his taking you shopping should have been sufficient. If you expect attention to be paid, well that’s another negotiation.
I have never understood why a woman would want to bring a man, or anyone else who doesn’t enjoy the experience, shopping with her. If someone is miserable it takes away from what might be a fun experience. Or makes a necessary trip much harder.
Years ago, I went shopping for some pants with my then GF. Bought four pair at the first store and she totally freaked. Hit several other stores to demonstrate that a guy’s choices were very limited.
Grocery shopping with my wife. Walk veeerrryyy slowly, stop and look at an item on a shelf for 5 minutes, pick up said item and read the label for 5 minutes, put item back on the shelf and walk away.
my experience when we both go shopping for jeans I look for inseam, waist and cost. my wife looks for style ,brand (some brands fit better than others) size color (does it match what she has currently has) then cost. then we go to another store to see if they have something better… then repeat.
I’d never buy clothes online; I believe in trying them on before I buy. When I do buy online, it’s usually for items I wouldn’t be able to find in a store. And for many of those items, I can find a larger selection and better prices online.

And all this time, Bub has just been sitting there with other men holding purses, saying “How ’bout ’dem Bears?” ☺

What I like about on line shopping is … exactly what Bud likes about in person shopping, except I don’t have to talk to someone.

There’s actually somebody who still thinks like me?! Maybe Betty will divorce Bub so I can marry him.
