My spouse always unplugs the toaster before leaving the house. One day I bemusedly asked if she had unplugged the stove, too. She hasn’t been able to leave the house since.

I think Mr. Deering did a paticularly good job of capturing the cat essence of those 2 resting cats.

Then it’ll still be there when you get back, as opposed to if you had knocked a lit candle off the mantle.
