I got into this comic strip late . . . who are all these people? Do they all live together usually or are they all forced to by Covid 19? Or are they usually just visiting each other?
Since I am kind of new to this strip, I was also hoping for a minimal rundown of how all these people came to live together and why. I assume the teenager is living with someone other than her parents. No one knows the rest or chooses not to help the original poster here? It can take a very long time to read entire comic strips to date – I have done it – and sometimes a nice, succinct synopsis is very helpful.
Wiki says, “Flo & Friends centers on Flo, a senior citizen whose life does not conform to the stereotypes about the elderly. She hosts a radio show…” I’ve never seen anything about this radio show. I thought at one time that all the elders lived in a retirement community while Tregg and her friend and Jack just visited and mooched, but this doesn’t seem to be the case. It’s just hard to tell where they all come from in the morning and go to at the end of the day. When Campbell’s mother died, she wrote something about her mother wishing the strip had more edge, but that doesn’t seem to have happened.
Just to add to the information here, since the beginning of the strip Flo has been 65, Jack 45, Treggie 15 and Ruthie 85. Frequent characters Winnie and Larry are also 85.

BTW. Good move, Flo! We love Aunt Ruthie, too.
