Ninja Eva slices your heart, my lad.

Cut his heart to shreds: worse than broken! Poor Lio!

She didn’t just break his heart; she filleted it.

Poor Lio :( She shredded his heart to pieces!

at least it wasn’t his head, or pray not……his hair!

Panels 2 and 3 appear to have been switched around.

The panels are not switched. Panel 3 is showing that it takes a second to fall apart after Eva’s perfect slices. I do it admit though, it could work either way.

Quite the heart breaker, I see she’s upgraded from her dagger.

yeah, i thought they were switched at first, too. Hmmm, it’s a nice effect, though.

She cut his heart into 9 pieces!

Her technique is similar to the guy at the Samurai Deli.

Well, nine peices are nothing to sneeze at. She’s good!

Hah! Just like on Looney Toons when the Panther takes a swipe at the dog and he says, “Missed” just seconds before falling apart like sliced ham.

Moral to this lesson Lio, Never show your thoughts in public.. It’ll be cut down by some ninja chick every time.

From personal experience I do not recommend bourbon to repair a sliced heart

There’s a scene in “The Mask of Zorro” where Z is sword-fighting with a woman; he slashes the air around her a few times, he waits a few seconds, and then her clothes fall off.
