They have strap extenders for just this complaint that supposedly loosens the strings around your ears but doesn’t compromise the snugness of the mask itself.
Must be your giant nose drabble lol can’t say my ears even notice my mask! Well the straps have knocked my earrings out when I’m taking it off and they do manage to get tangled in the earpieces of my glasses too!
People with hearing aids have lost their hearing aids sometimes. (At $8000 a pair of $4000 each, that hurts as lot of insurance companies don’t cover them. The joy of OCare, everybody has insurance it just has low coverage, and high deductibles and copays. But at least I got to keep my plan and doctor!)
We are scheduled to get our second vaccine soon but we also plan on wearing our masks in public for quite some time. Not a problem. I think we will all be out of masks gradually and by summer a mask will be a rare sight. As we approach herd immunity through vaccinations we can see the light at the end of the tunnel and freedom and a return to normalcy. I disagree with the President that it’s going to take a much longer time. We are on our way! But everyone PLEASE get your vaccines.
Back in the day when city buses had advertisements posted, there was one for a Dr. Hiss, a Long Beach podiatrist in the 50s when I’d ride the bus to Hebrew School. It said “Are Your Feet KILLING You?” It was a running joke between this other boy and me. He’d always greet me as Dr. Hiss.

Your ears are just masking…..the real problem.

I hate the masks that hang behind your ears the ones I use connect in the back of the neck with velcro flaps way easier on your ears.

My first mask was one my wife made using round hair ties for the ears
They were stiff, tight and they hurt
After that mask, I hardly notice the ones I have now as far as my ears are concerned

The worst is the combo of mask, glasses, and hearing aids. I always pull at least one hearing aid when de-masking.

When all this is done, people will be sending their children to specialists to get their ears fixed.
