You should build the castle back. We’re not heading for a world where there’s good housing for everyone. The US will soon be a nation where a tiny percentage of the population lives in extreme luxury and everyone else lives in hovels.
I was looking at a house on Zillow yesterday, wishing it had more back yard, a little more space between the neighbors. I went to street view to see how Google had seen it as its car passed by whenever ago, y’know, maybe some trees had leafed out and it looked different when it wasn’t winter when the real estate pictures were taken—and there were no houses, just a thriving orchard with fruit almost ready to harvest. It broke my heart and I clicked away.

It’s lovely. How much for one, and what can you tell me about the HOA?

Yep. Just like developers who tear out all the trees and name the new neighborhood ‘The Oaks’!
