Dukes looks a lot like an older Wilma Flintstone.

Oh, the fallibility of eyewitnesses.

The D.A. is not really that similar to Wilma Flintstone. Hair color and bun are it. And even at that, Wilma’s hair color is lighter. Other than bun the hair style is completely different. The D.A. has glasses and pupils, Wilma had neither. Wilma has eyebrows, D.A. doesn’t. D.A. has a visible ear, Wilma doesn’t. D.A.‘s nose is round and about 5 times the size of Wilma’s short pointed one.

Well, it still is reasonable for her to do that – after all once Rip brings in the Highwayman he will probably move on to other adventures.

She’s obviously underestimating Rip. The Highwayman may be extremely dangerous, but so are Rip’s fists! (Good Bugs Bunny impression, by the way.)

I think this is the first woman I’ve ever seen in this strip who isn’t stacked. P.S. not complaining.
