my dogs are happiest when they are outside with me. That is why they are in and out. They are trying to convince me to go with them.

Sometimes, our dog does that. Just stands in the doorway.

You know, it would be great if this site allowed comment pictures. Then we could all share photos of our “Rovers”!

What happened to the window panes in the front door? Not their usual pattern.

In or out is a huge decision for an indoor dog. Sometimes they need to be out.

Butt is outside, so he has not to go outside!

I can so relate to this.

Since they can read each other’s minds, why doesn’t Rover tell Red why? Or doesn’t he know himself?
