Good a reason as any…

I’ll just take a little cat nap…..

Because he can’t find a badger to bark at.

Cat-dog conversations

Oogie probably saw the Disney movie Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey. “Cats rule, and dogs drool.”

You read this and wonder what’s up with cat and dog rivalry, especially if one side doesn’t really care.

Then why did you ask? ☺

We have a 10-pound dog and a 15-pound cat. They can never agree on who is supposed to chase whom. Every now and again, the dog seems to remember “I’m a dog; we chase cats!” Then she tries it and the cat tells her where to get off in no uncertain terms. Yep, the cat knows who’s bigger. He’ll chase the dog, but only when she tries to chase him.

It’s a dog thing you wouldn’t understand

Dogs have owners and cats have staff.

Dogs think because humans feed them and groom them, that humans must be gods. Cats think because humans feed and groom them, that cats must be gods.

Reminded of “Beethoven Chased by Rossini” in Garrison Keillor’s “Songs of the Cat.”
