3 Bozo took the beltway.

While there’s great perspectives in all three, the third and last strip today, the golfing one, depicts an outdoor scene with spectacular three dimensional depths. A big thumbs up to the master cartoonist Foxo Reardon and his masterpiece BOZO!

1. He must be sleeprobbing.

2. How much reward for your gold watch, sir?

3. Bozo goes for an elite sport this time. Fore!

I might just steal forty winks myself.

Due to the hectic nature of life at the moment for me, I do not have the mental energy to attempt discerning a “bigger picture” concept today….. but I wanted to mention a few things that tickled me in these panels:

1. I very much enjoy seeing the push button style light switch on Bozo’s wall. They always look so very nice. My sister has one such switch that her husband was able to retrofit when they rewired their old home from the dangerous old fashioned knob wiring system.

2. So, was Bozo a stealthy “pickpocket” here… in order to get the pocket watch? That is my assumption.

3. It looks like Bozo used a sand wedge on the green…. and was highly successful in doing so. I am not sure if there are any “official” rules or not about the use of non-putter clubs on the green.

1. It’s a crime that Bozo was robbed by the sleep bandit.

2. Looks like Bozo found a well paying gig.

3. The obstacles they put on the course is frustrating to Bozo.

Someone needs to tell Bozo he needs to yell “fore!” before his tee shot.

What? No umbrella man in silhouette in #3?

2) Honestly pays again and again and again… 3) Who would have guessed that the umbrella guy was a caddy?

1. & 2. Opportunities for the young to see a mobile phone where there is none.

I find #1, ‘Robbed of sleep’ hysterical but cannot find Fuzzy. (Glad the old push button light switch was pointed out. Love seeing what was popular back in the 40’s. We had one growing up in the 50’s).

- I see Fuzzy running but not being chased by a cop this time.- Well played Bozo!!! Fuzzy will have to put down the umbrella to play the hole, unless he is someone’s caddy.

1) Bozo hears a crash outside, goes out with his flashlight and pistol. Finds nothing. Returns to find another crook asleep in his bed!

2) Bozo returns a wallet that fell out of the pocket of a rich man. Get’s an idea for more reward money and returns the fellows fob watch.

3) Golf: Bozo hits one very hard and conks a poor fellow senseless. Bozo plays through right over him.
