1 Got to keep his reputation going. (Umbrella Guy remembering it’s unlucky to open an umbrella in the house.

2 Some days you take what you can get. (Umbrella Guy playing scooter tramp.)

3 Cheapskate actor steals Bozo’s bouquet for the price of a (cheap) tip. (Umbrella Guy seems to have picked up a tail.)

They needed Bozo for the Ecce Homo in Borja. It’s interesting that he’s enough of a local character to have detractors, though.

1. Bozo don’t likes his graffiti seen on unpainted walls.

2. I has been in this sort of place. They never comes to takes your order. I stop going to such place.

3. Bozo tries to make a new gal pal but earns a quick dime instead.

And what spectacular artwork in all three. Such great perspectives and depths. It’s like we’re looking at a cartoon world which has realistic three dimensions. Just look at the three dimensional depths in each panel in each strip. Foxo Reardon was a master of art of perspective, a master cartoonist, one of the best ever. It’s such a joy reading the masterful cartoonist Foxo’s masterpiece Bozo!

What do do think of the artwork in “Herman”?

Aspiring artists, take note of the method of showing stripes on a stick figure. I like how he thinks.

Incidentally, putting three comments in one would seem to have the effect of making it look (to the bean counters) like there’s less interaction and clicks on this page than there would be if each was teased out into its own, threadable, comment.

One has to take time and observe the details in this comic to really enjoys it. Not only there’s great perspectives and three dimensional realism in the scenes, but it’s also worth looking at everything in the foreground, background and everything between them. It’s all drawn by talented hands by a talented mind, with such care.

I bearly noticed the clock in the background of the second one the first time saw it. It shows how long Bozo was waiting before he spots the hot dog selling guy and goes for it. The passage of time is also seen if you observes that the peoples sitting behind Bozo has changed.

1. Bozo say, “Only Bozo allowed to make fun of Bozo”!

2. You make me wait, I help myself.

3. Bozo probably feels used.

1)Fait Graffiti: Bozo finds disparaging graffiti of him. Hewing to being correct he adds his ever present cigar to both drawings with a smile. (After he paints over it and redraws it.)

2) Eating out: The waiter take s too long so Bozo gets a quick hotdog while he waits.

3) Flowers for a tip: Bozo presents a bouquet of roses to a beautiful lady, and her date gives him a tip in return. (Bozo is puzzled by this.)

① As a true graffiti admirer, Bozo wants to make sure the artist’s work stands out. Well done!

② “So, you finally found out that I was here! Don’t get upset, I’m still hungry.”

③ Bozo, the fancy courtier’s tip isn’t much but the actress will remember who gave her flowers, and next time she may thank you herself.
