3 You’ve got to expect midway fare to be a bit greasy, Bozo.

If Bozo was thinking he would have opened the drawers and used the fan to file the paperwork.

The back yard of our tiny lot in Massachusetts had high fences on all sides (previous owners were very security-minded), and the trees on all sides—none on the property—could fill it right up with leaves. One time, a day after I’d raked it all, we had a big wind, and it left me with a whole yard full once more. I turned out the next day to face the task and found that the wind had blown once more, and this time it cleaned the place right out. Worked for me. I went back in.

It’s also the plot of my original 1943 Nancy Sunday page: She rakes leaves for a few panels, then that wind arrives, and she covers her eyes. When she opens them, all the leaves are gone. She shrugs and goes inside, and there they all are. (I kept telling them to put glass in their windows.)

Now you know what happened to the rest of your dry cleaning, Bozo.

…and I wonder what kind of office Bozo works in, considering there’s a push broom on the floor.

1) Reading: Bozo finishes his paper and sells it to get his money back to the chagrin of the paper seller.

2) Paper chase: Setting his fan he blows papers off his desk and uses the fan to blow them back on the desk in cartoon fashion fix up.

3) Yummy eating: Get’s a hot dog and slathers on and it slips out of the bun as he bites.

⓵ I always recycle my newspapers but I don’t get paid to do it. Something’s wrong here.
