In strip #2, Bozo appears to have flunked the physics course about fulcrums.

    1. Bozo is always the electrifying entertainer.

    2. Bozo tries to capture the roadrunner, but in vain.

    3. Ah, the old sneak out from underneath trick.

And once again, a big thumbs up for Foxo’s marvellous masterpiece, the wordless wonder called Bozo.

    1) Bad Bulb: Bozo is reading and his lamp doesn’t work. He unscrews the bulb and finds that power goes through the socket.

    2) Rock of Edges: Bozo uses a fulcrum but makes a mistake and the rock is now rolling at him instead of into the abyss.

    3) Pile On Driver: Football pro Bozo get’s piled on and still has the ball.

Who here is old enough to remember hardware stores that had a light bulb display that incorporated an active bulb socket such that a customer could test any bulb they were about to buy? The socket had smooth sides (with no screw threads) and one could simply push a bulb into it to see if it lit up. Even as a young kid of 9 or 10 I knew how potentially dangerous that was, and even though I had a curious temptation to stick a finger in it, I never did. Eventually, those bulb testers started to disappear, perhaps because of casualties I never heard about, but still for good reason.

Years earlier, when I was 4 or 5, I was playing with one of my mother’s bobby pins and stuck it into an electrical outlet in our home. I received a shock that stunned me but did no lasting damage (some would argue that). But I learned quickly that electricity was dangerous and not to touch it. I hope Bozo didn’t learn the same lesson the hard way.

#3 ~ The amazing Bozo with enormous strength and cunning, accomplished an unbelievable feat with his feet, carrying the entire opposing team’s dog-pile across the goal line for a touchdown while still clutching the ball. No wonder he has a champion’s smile on his face.
