1 Bozo shows the doggy to the chew toy section, right?
2 The horse had dibs on that.
3 The elevator operator has to stay at his station on the penthouse floor in case one of the resident bigwigs (like the Umbrella Guy) wants to head down to the lobby for a pack of gum.
1. Here. Reads your own book and leaves me alone! But doggie just wants to play with ya!
2. Horsie is a practical joker.
3. To quote Kung Fu Panda, Ah, my old enemy. Stairs!
…
Happy Sunday, folks. Such a joy to read Bozo everyday. And triple the joy too, with three strips a day.
Have you ever seen any other beautifully drawn daily gag comic which gives full three dimensional depths and details? I sure hasn’t. Take your time, relax, and see each panel by zooming in as much as you can. Bozo is a great work of art, a comic that expresses through artwork alone and no words.
Once again, a big thumbs up and a big applause for Foxo’s marvellous masterpiece, the picturesque pantomime, the wordless wonder called Bozo!
And Bozo is the only strip I hits the like (heart) button up there every day consistently. What’s not to love about Bozo, I say. In the days of gloom during them pandemic lockdowns, Bozo came like a such a golden sunshine.
Happiness is a sure cure for lotsa things. You may know about Anatomy of an Illness as Perceived by the Patient written by Norman Cousins, as an example for how joy and humour helps. The prime reason why we reads comics in the first place, is to have fun and joy.
For me, Bozo brings happiness every day, even though he’s from the previous century. Bozo reminds us to smile every day, not by trying to impress with word play, puns, or pop culture references or pot shots at someone or something, but by not saying a single word. Without saying a word, Bozo tells us a lot, for he reminds us that simple fun and a smiles a day is what keeps the doctors away.
1) Doggy Reading Hour: Bozo spending time with his pooch reading but ______ doesn’t seem interested. So going back to the library he goes to the pets reading section. Choose?
2) Lucky Horse Shoe: Bozo finds the object and a horse kicks him across the street!
3) Long Walk for a Short Message: Bozo is given an urgent telegram to the elevator captain who is on break. So Bozo has to walk up the numerous flights of stairs to deliver it.

Second strip: If it weren’t for bad luck, I’d have no luck at all.

Plants on top of bookshelves? Oh, no. Unless they’re celluloid or something like.

1) This is how those book pages get dog-eared!
2) It’s just a coincidence. There’s no such thing as bad luck, right?
