My parents told me about the migrant farmworkers camp by the creek every harvest season. The farm owner’s children gave up on the fruit orchard and just plant corn.
As the producer of “Bozo,” I certainly appreciate each and every one of you who have signed up as a follower of Bozo. (602 followers to date.) I also appreciate you who follow the strip (as your comments on the strip sometimes testify to) but who have not actually signed up as followers. Just want to say that it would be a big help for the success and future of the strip if you would add Bozo to the list of comics that you follow. Many thanks for considering to do so!!
1) Suspicious: Bozo carrying a case is followed by yet another police officer eyeing him with negative intentions. Bozo stops at a water fountain an so does lantern jaw. Bozo proceeds to shoot a water stream in his eye.
2) Visiting Friends: On a train Bozo sees his buddies and stops, gets off to hobnob with hoboes. (Bozo is friends on every level of society from the highest to the lowest.)
3) Handy Carrier: The ever suspicious beat cop demands Bozo hand over a gift he found on the pavement. Ladies come and decided the cop can carry their packages too as Bozo shuffles off to Buffalo.
2. Was that train a local? I hope that wasn’t an emergency stop signal that Bozo pulled.
3. At first I was going to suggest that either Bozo or the nosey cop should check for a receipt to see if there was a name on it. But then I remembered that in 1949 most receipts would most likely have been handwritten without the customer’s name and wouldn’t have any credit card information because nobody had them. I wasn’t buying very much except penny candy back then so I didn’t see any receipts.
I have wondered why there are no more followers of this wonderful strip and have two ideas. One, people see the name Bozo and think Bozo the Clown and move on. Maybe use a different picture (avatar?) Two, you have think to get the humor and today people don’t want to think. They want to be told how something is funny and not use their brains. Just my two cents.

1 The cop thinks Bozo is a suspicious character but he’s all wet!
2 Bozo remembers the best places to eat even when he can afford the ticket to get there.
3 Maybe he can exchange it for one in his size.

Now these are some really glorious and lovely FoXo artwork. The details and perspectives are simply spectacular!
A big thumbs up and a big applause once again for the wordless wonder called Bozo, Foxo’s marvellous masterpiece which is a picturesque pantomime.
