Great funnies with great and detailed artwork! Such a joy to read Bozo every day. Three cheers, a big thumbs up and a big applause for FoXo’s marvellous masterpiece, the picturesque pantomime called BOZO!
Ah the history of the movies of the 40’s, the Cop on the beat taking liberties of sampling the fruit stand. Truth is some of this was even true even in the early 60’s. Most merchants in my (then) small town gave free coffee, fruit, and snacks to Law Enforcement, not as a bribe, but more of thanks for the job they done. Most merchants and “cops” knew each other by name, knew the family, and were friends. Cannot blame Bozo, I had rather see good looking ladies than the street. Plus rather be able to see than be obstructed by a stack of newspapers. Like 2 & 3, Foxo Reardon did draw some very beautiful ladies, back when ladies dressed to the (9’s) when out in public and when at home.
1) NFS: Bozo handling an outdoor produce market. Beat cop eats an apple and a banana and Bozo charges him the going rate of 50¢ to complete the transaction.
2) Raise the Vision: Bozo buys out the newspaper guy and stands on them to see over the desk he now has.
3) Clothes Refund: When it is Bozo’s turn, he disrobes to his underwear for money.

1 Bozo likes to keep the cops healthy…likewise his bank account.
2 Bozo swears on a stack of newspapers that every story is true.
3 Let us hope that Bozo plans to keep everything else.
