And what a fabulous fun day and spelendid sunday is today with these fabulous fun funnies called BOZO!

Created by a tremendously talented FoXo Reardon who may be lesser known but was no lesser than any other greatest cartoonists ever, BOZO still comes like a fresh fragrant breeze even after so many years, decades and eras later.

BOZO not only a true epitome of pictures speaking thousand words, but also a most pleasant picturesque pantomime. Not only FoXo never needs words to tell his funny tales of Bozo, he also a master of artwork with splendid skills of perspective artwork creating great three dimensional depths and details in every scene, which is why every panel of BOZO is like a picturesque of a realistic-looking three dimensional cartoon world.

So it not wonder that these wonderful wordless wonders called BOZO still bring great joy and sheer cheer to many even today.

But despite being a great classic of great creative calibre, neither BOZO nor FoXo are much known or remembered these days.

3 How did you think Bozo keeps up his strength?

1~ It’s silly, the person at the door in frame 3 can see that Bozo has no trousers, so the fake embarrassment in frame 4 is just for show.

2~ It takes a stupid fish to get caught twice.

3~ Fuzzy is so shocked at Bozo’s selfishness that he dropped his parasol!

Some people are never what they seem!

Thank goodness for high piers….doubt the fisherman will scale the beams for one fish!

1. Looks like neither one in this encounter is figuratively and literally wearing the pants. Now, the nature of this encounter is a question. But high heels are empowering. Also, why is the caller flushed? embarrassment? Something else?

Pantsed. Plucking fish. Kisses bandit. Does anyone else remember being “pantsed” as a kid on the way home from school?

Reminds me of a scene in John Steinbeck’s Tortilla Flat when the protagonists are sitting around wondering what to have for dinner when one says, “Let’s go down to the wharf and throw rocks at the fishermen coming in. They will have nothing to throw back at us but fish.”

1) HALF A MISS MATCH: Bozo is ironing his pants and a bespeckled gentlemen is at the half door. When the bottom part swings open, he has on a long skirt and high heels!?!

2) TWICE THE CATCH: Bozo makes a fish catch only it’s from someone else’s boat!

3) LIGHTS OUT: Box of chocolates for his sweetie, Bozann. Suddenly the light goes out and when it comes back on the chocolates are gone and Bozo’s mouth is full! (Bozann is shocked I tell you, shocked at this action.)
