1 – Bozo’s plans for a ride to his job downtown get scuttled.
3 – Bozo will do most anything to get to see those “Honeymooners” sketches on “The Jackie Gleason Show”. Ralph Kramden is the biggest thing on television!
I grew up with coal deliveries! There was a coal bin in the basements and the truck would unload there. There was also a back door and staircase leading to outside Coal bins were spooky and we would always run quickly up the steps, when we were in the basement…because someone..would always yell RATS IN THE BASEMENT‼️ then shut the lights off‼️☺️I also remember dirt basements. I remember watching the cement truck pull up and pour the cement down the chute in my grandparents house. As years past, they filled in the stairwell and made a patio in the back yard.
Memories! ❤️
Bozo ain’t having no low flying aircraft in his neighborhood! OY‼️
Beggars can’t be choosers but this is ridiculous! ☺️
1. Bozo not expect this level of excitement in free ride. Wheeee!
2. These days it more likely woulda been a drone.
3. Them TVs was sure expensive back in those days. And these days there’s bearly anything good to watches on TV.
…
But it always a pleasure to watch BOZO every day. For these fabulous fun funnies by the Fabulous FoXo never disappoint.
And why would they disappoint, for these was created with such splendid skills and done with fully fantastic finesse by the tremendously talented FoXo Reardon who never needed words to tell his funny tales.
Telling his funnies with awesome artwork alone, FoXo created epitomes of pictures speaking thousand words. He was a rare combination of both humourous wits and artistic talents which is rarely seen together in the same cartoonist.
And every panel is like a photograph of a three dimensional cartoon world of realistic-looking depths and details. Such was Fabulous FoXo’s splendid perspective artwork.
Just look at the wonderful drawings that FoXo drew with his own hands, all drawn with his own hands. Every details, every lines and elements, even whether it be the sahding beneath the coal wagon or the chequered lines details on a man’s coat. And even when he suffered from cancer and with one eye in his later days. FoXo gave his best.
So it no wonder that these wonderful wordless wonders still bring great joy and sheer cheer to many even today after so many decades and era later.
But friends, despite being a great classic of great creative calibre, neither BOZO nor FoXo are much known or remembered these days.
Spread the word, friends, so that BOZO can spread more joy and cheer to many more!
BOZO 1- AH Shoot missed a ride; AH Shute got a ride! BOZO 2- AH Shoot looks like a Duck! AH Shoot looks like I shot a kid’s toy plane! BOZO 3- Instead of Monthly Payments, let’s try daily payments, I might have enough to watch The Honeymooners come October!
We had a coal furnace at our old house in Pittsburgh and remember getting coal delivered well into the 50’s. Don’t know when that stopped but my dad then would burn wood and paper to heat the house.

That looks like the TV set we had when I was a kid. It was a blonde Silvertone from Sears.
