Agony Annie. Ok, we have her official nickname. Spontaneous Sophie is still up for grabs, though.

I will not agonize over the decision whether or not to have one of the donuts on the counter

I made that decision as soon as I read the comic

Poor Annie is trying so hard to behave…but I’ve got to admit it’s hard to resist donuts.

Weighing up the options, studying the pros and cons, taking one with the other, all possible outcomes. Yup, a good donut is worth a yelling at any day.

Yeah. Smash and grab goes sort of flat if you smash, and think about it.

Annie struggles with her conscience before acting; Sophie is all about “it’s better to beg forgiveness than ask permission.” They are mimicking the human condition.

Peanut sticks yes less go get them

Why did Sophie even wait around? Maybe she should’ve said: I’m heading there now and if you snooze you lose.

Poor Annie’s conflicted, but if Dad left them out with 2 dogs in the house there might as well have a ‘come and get me’ sign.

Gimme a chance to prepare myself to be spontaneous.

I never have donuts in my house. It is much easier to resist temptation that way.

It would have been funnier if Sophie had scarfed down all the donuts during Annie’s indecision.

Looks like Sophie’s working on yesterday’s conundrum.

Donuts bad for doggies.
