When I draw, it’s usually the whole day. Look at idea book, make sure pens are working, draw the cartoon, scan and then correct any mistakes, then add words and color. I consider 5 comics drawn and colored, a good day!
My mind is to scattered to focus on drawing and writing a specific character even if it is myself. It must be hard to resist bringing in characters outside your family. After all, there are usually so many of them :-)

But with a bit of ingenuity and hard work, I was able to overcome the difficulties impeding my progress!

Twenty minutes of “work” a day, then laugh all the way to the bank.

I would think coming up with the ideas is the hardest part. I’ve never tried it, though, so I wouldn’t know for sure.

I can’t imagine the pressure of coming up with humor and artwork every week on a deadline.

At least you didn’t have to draw fingers with the mitten on.
