Mom: Rise and shine, Cathy! The early bird swim is at 6:30...breakfast buffet at 7:00...stretch and tone at 7:45...ethnic crafts at 8:30...volleyball at... Cathy:...Huh? It's 6:00am, Mom. Mom: I know! Get up! You're going to miss the activities! Cathy: It's my vacation. I don't want to do activities. Mom: People went to all the trouble to plan the activities. They'll feel terrible if we don't show up to do the activities. Cathy: I'M SUPPOSED TO DO ACTIVITIES JUST TO MAKE THE ACTIVITY PLANNERS HAPPY?! Mom: Don't be silly. I also want you up so I can get your bed made before the housekeeper comes.
