In panel 4 Sean has the look of a bully who suddenly got blowback from one of the kids he is used to bullying or pushing around. He probably is a pretty insecure kid, judging by the way he acts and it looks like he has made an enemy of his cousin for trying to push him around and putting down his circle of friends who happen to be girls. Makes me wonder what made Sean become like this to start with, problems at home or perhaps being bullied himself by aa bigger and/or older kid, perhaps a Tomboy. If he was not such a *******, I would feel sorry for him. Good for Dean to stand up for himself!
So, why are there no comments on Dean starting to mix it up with his mysogenistic cousin? The way to be comfortable with the opposite sex, is to start with friends of both sexes. (Sadly, siblings of the opposite sex can sometimes be no help at all.) Don’t even go there with which sex is more intelligent! We all have our own gifts & talents & thingscwe excel at doing.
