Talk about “Hot for Teacher.”

Is this how the teacher gets mugged? I would believe that most if not all teachers are addicted to caffeine though.

Can this be reissued on May 5th (not just Cinco de Mayo, but National Teacher Appreciation Day-https://www.awarenessdays.com/awareness-days-calendar/national-teacher-day-in-the-usa-2021/#:~:text=National%20Teacher%20Day%20in%20the%20USA%202021%20May,is%20celebrated%20in%20the%20USA%20annually%20since%201985.)?

Reminds me of the commercial where the guy is picking out a new refrigerator by checking which in-the-door water dispenser will fit his big “#1 Dad” mug.

I had a ‘Ms. Harris’ in 6th grade whom I had a crush. At the end of the year she wrote a poem about every person in the class that described a trait about them. For me it was “and I’ll never forget Butch’s innocent look”.

Most in the profession aspire to that slogan. It takes a special type of person to be an educator. My thanks to all of them for my experiences (almost all very positive) and my hope that they’re able to make it through the pandemic safely.

She’s earned it!!

I drive a bus, and often the kids make me cards or pictures or whatever. I’ve saved every one. One girl made a big sign that reads “Best Bus Driver!” with all sorts of decorations. I told my boss I wanted it in my next job review. The dispatcher has a habit of saying “You’re the best” when she asks a driver to do something out of the ordinary. For a while I would pick up the mic and go “AHEM! I have a SIGN!”

Awesome lady. Sure wish there were more teachers like her.
